All I'll say is that I hope you don't give up on art because other people are pointlessly rude. Art is a skill, just like music is a skill, just like reading or walking. Talent is an illusion. Genius is the abandonment of all insecurities in favor of a voracious curiosity for truth. Everything that's awesome was made by the application of the same tool that everyone has available to them - their mind. The brain isn't as inflexible or caste-like as people like to make it seem, it takes hard work but I'm sure you can render anything and everything you can imagine if you're willing to learn to see things in pen, or paint, or whatever :)
